The women whisperer - Colour Rendering Index

A delicate hint of rosé on the cheeks, perfect contours and a breath-taking look. I didn't see all this when I looked at myself in the mirror of the elevator. With the feeling of being at the mercy I took the few steps to our open-plan office. There the partly questioning, partly unbelieving looks stabbed me in the back. I began to think: "Is that really necessary?"

And every day the elephant greets

Every woman knows it - the morning routine in the bathroom. You want to get the best out of yourself. Then the final test: The last look in the mirror. The result is convincing. But what if the bathroom lighting only pretends to be perfect? What if the grip in the jars and pots has fallen too deep? Do the discreetly staged cheekbones look more like a bright red "No passage" sign in daylight? Does everyone see the colourful elephant in the room, but nobody talks about it?

CRI

The truth comes at the end

Colour perception depends largely on ambient light. In artificial light, the CRI (Colour Rendering Index) describes the quality of colour rendering compared to sunlight. If the CRI value is between 90 and 100, colors are not distorted by the light. With these values, "really good" colour rendering is achieved.

The saw is roaring in his ears. Standing on the ladder, he guides the thin saw blade along the pencil line. Only a few centimetres separate him from success. Done – a small piece of plasterboard becomes a victim of gravity and falls to the ground. Daniel puts his fingers into the borehole and fiddles the thin cable out of the opening. Just plug it in and you're done. Easier than expected – he smiles relaxed. This project had cost him many sleepless nights. Now he looks at his work with satisfaction.
